1. Book Your Hotel Now.
   There are going to be a large number of folks coming in from out of town. Some will be there as invited guests of politicians to watch the swearing in, some will be part of The American Drive in. Either way you should expect the hotels to fill up fast.
2. Fill up with gas before you get inside the beltway.
   Running out of gas is not fun for anyone.
3. Make sure to have a sleeping bag or blanket in your vehicle.
   It is January in Washington DC and it is most likely going to be cold. A breakdown or other problem could occur. Be Prepared.
4. Snacks and drinks are also a good idea.
   Avoid beans or boiled cabbage, we wouldn’t want Harry Reid to have to smell us. On second thought….
5. Restrooms.
   Starbucks is a great place to refill your cup and empty your bladder. The alleyways may seem tempting but they are generally reserved for congressional staffers sleeping off the previous night’s binge or love affair.

Guidelines

1. Remember we are not here to break traffic laws by deliberately blocking intersections or roads.
   If you do, you WILL become a revenue source.
2. Remember DC is crawling with red light cameras.
   We suggest stopping as soon as the light turns yellow to avoid traffic fines.  Don’t become a revenue source.
3. After the light turns green it is important to wait a second or two to allow any drunken congressmen time to run the light as they race to be sworn in. Remember Safety First!!!
4. Right on Red may be legal but it is not required.
5. We recommend driving at least 5mph under the posted limit.
   The political pressure applied by the corrupt administration in DC means every motorist is considered a revenue source. This means DC traffic police are forced to “liberate” as much of the green as is necessary to keep the mayor’s office in the black.
6. Gawking like a tourist is OK.
   Virtually every person, vehicle or building you see is supported by your taxes. Crying at the waste, fraud and abuse has been considered passé since the Roosevelt Administration.
7. As you cruise down K Street remember practically every person you see is actively working to destroy your liberty and our American way of life.
   Resist the temptation to drive on the sidewalk. Instead smile and wave as we destroy their way of life.
8. And finally, SERIOUSLY, remember to give way to emergency vehicles whatever the traffic conditions.
